Agreed!! smile.gif
It's very sad that we lost him to Fentanyl just like we lost so many other great musicians to it. sad.gif Tom Petty, Delores from Cranberries, the list goes on. What has happened is that on the street, anything that is stamped and says its oxycodone, is actually probably fentanyle. Roughly 75 percent of all street oxy is now actually fentanyl.

Prince had a bad hip and had an assistant that would get him pain killers from the street. He got prince what prince usually takes. He took 3 per usual. Sadly, the medication was actually fentanyl powder that had been stamped using a pill press (illegal to own one of those for good reason) to look like a much weaker pain killer. Before Prince could make it to the first floor, he was dead.
Tom petty was trying to continue to tour on a fractured hip. he was taking a lot of pain killer just to keep going. One night, he just over did it and he never woke up.
Delores was taking pain meds evidently as they found fentanyl in her hotel when she died. I don't know if she had a condition that required meds. I just know that fentanyl overdose is what killed her. sad.gif

This drug is illegal without prescription. That has not stopped it from being readily available all over the country. Supply and demand. The drug war has actually made it worse as it's made it impossible for folks to get oxycodone/morphine etc on the street. As a result, dealers are importing fentanyl powder from China and it's killing people like crazy.
here is a good article about it.
