In The Sea Of Sand
Equilibrium Occurs
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

“Nothing in this world is as pure as hate,
And yet nothing is more destructive”

White snow on the desert surface
Textures frailty and rage
A horizon with another burning eden
Ashes of pyres, Pour down like rain

Breathless, Lifeless, Dull
Yet still staring eyes
Gaze into those who still dare to look in them
Pierce the outer shell of a barricaded soul

Mirrors glazed with tears
In the final moments of their lives
As I stare into them
Breathless engines seem to still churn screams

The sky remains painted
With the most desolate shade of gray

You set the scales off balance
You bridged a waterless river
And through me
Equilibrium shall occur

Faces devoid of mercy
Heartless creatures of the abyss
Eyes with no depth nor end
And a God with only malice to spare

Cut down like wheat to a scythe
Another mother loses her son
Face and heart buried deep in the burning sand
Leather thick skin does nothing to hide the pain

She cries out as she is taken against her will
Eyes teary with shame and degradation
He looks out shackled to holy wood
A scream of sorrow, hate, and frustration

The sky remains painted
With the most ominous shade of gray

You set the scales off balance
You bridged a waterless river
And through me
Equilibrium shall occur

Part 2, Our main character is wondering around, following the army who raided his village. And this song is what he sees on his travels, More destroyed homes and more death. But he knows he is getting closer with each day.
