So im probably going to be getting a new amp by the end of this summer and im really attracted towards orange amps. Ive thought Orange Tiny Terror mainly. I really want a tube amp and i think that going from my Vox Valvetronix AD50VT to the Tiny Terror would be a huge improvement. As for a cabinet i would use this one http://orangeamps.com/products.asp?Action=View&ID=84
Its an orange 2x12 cabinet. thx people smile.gif

For the money it's a great buy. I never managed to key in a useful sound when I tried it one year ago or so, but I suppose that could be since I played a Fender strat and I'm a humbucker guy myself laugh.gif

However, the switch between 7/15W was pretty useless since both are set to kill. Something like 1.5/15 would be more useful. But it's likely it would cost more to get that.

I'm itching a bit to try one with a Les Paul, I think that would just rock. Cos for that price it's a great deal on a tube head I think.

Yo,

I have a TT and PPC112 and I really like the thing alot, needs to be cranked a bit to get the best of it tho but if that is not an issue then u are fine. Recommend sticking JJ pre-amp tubes in it if you get one and it does not come stock with them (mine didn't). They add a bit more gain and free up the sound a little. It will basically do country all the way thru to 80s (or at least less extreme) metal without a pedal, if you want more modern metal sound u will need a nasty pedal of some sort. Pairing it with a 212 should help to push it a bit harder and get it to sweat a bit sooner, but it will certainly shake the roof. I would recommend that you audition first if at all possible.

Is there something specific you wanna know?

The cab is really a nice cab. For the amp, if you like the tiny terror check out the blackheart (crate) amps too, they are great!
