I just saw The Uncreators thread about Emperor, so I thought I could make a thread about my favorite black metal band aswell

I personally dont think Darkthrone have one single bad album, not even one single bad song!
Though, A blaze in the northern sky, Under a funeral moon and Translvanian hunger will always be my favorites.

I CANT WAIT for their next album "F*** off and Die" !! I've only heard one song, "Canadian Metal" and its really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY, REALLY AMAZING!!

That album is a classic, oh and by the way, Darkthrone are just INCAPABLE of makiing bad music

Oh man I love Darkthrone, they are awesome. I dont really get the lyrics to canadian metal though... whats the deal with that song.

Indeed they are. I LOVE those newer albums like Ravishing Grimness, Hate Them, Plaguewielder and Sardonic Wrath etc.
Seems like most people dont like those albums.

I also love their death metal stuff, Soulside Journey is amazing, and so is Goatlord. Goatlord got the coolest sound ever.

Darkthrone is just one of those bands you can always expect good stuff from. I really enjoy Panzerfaust though.

Yeah dude, that performance is so amazing. Such an amazing song, I love that video. Just too bad Fenriz werent there. But if they started touring they wouldnt have had so much time to make great music
