Hia, I am mixing song for GMC virtual band Dragged through the dirt - I am done with it but.. I still cant find a way to give it kind of... raw, edgy, dirty sound, that is typical for grunge.. I've put overdrive channels on guitars (even though they were recrorded with Death Metal distortion), compressors, slight delay/reverb (barely audicible..) but I think, it still lacks some punch:D
Any help appreciated Btw. basses are panned right, left, rythms a midway (center/left, center/right) and drums and solos at middle -------------------- my youtube account with riffs and ideas: https://www.youtube.com/user/Phoenygzus

First of all try to remove all delay and reverb effects, add more compression(specially on drums)
and put bass in the middle of picture, rhythm guitars panned left and right. If not, then you should record guitars again and basses again, trying to get the sound you want before it gets recorded. -------------------- Youtube
