I've realized that it is better to learn any of the GMC lessons by ear. how would u go about it, because it's very hard to try and look at the video, not the tab. thx smile.gif

I also started learning stuff by ear recently,
I think that you should allow your self to watch at the main video, otherwise it's probably to hard to start out with. blink.gif

I believe you don't have to push yourself a lot to learn GMC lessons by ear.
We are providing video lessons and that's the whole point,to show you what we are doing. smile.gif

But if you insist on that, then simply do not look at the screen and listen.

However it might be hard task so as I said, look at the lessons as they are
but try to learn some other tunes/songs/solos by ear. smile.gif

Well I ussually do just that, learn the lessons by ear, I think it's the most effective way to aply you'r own style into music and also find the most comfortable way of playing.

Best way I know to learn stuff by ear is to first recognise the scale/s being used, than find the first and last note of a phrase and slowly but surely try working the notes that are in between smile.gif
