Tensions seems kind of high because you can really tell Layne Staley seems so out of it here, but this was also one of his best performances just because it fits the mood of the songs so perfectly. That's where everything started with me (being interested in guitar, music and composition) and finding out what playing music was all about. In one of the other videos, I dont know if It is one of those, Staley says this was one of the best shows they had done in 3 years. But yeah, I couldn't agree with you more. It is a bit a disturbing on some level. However, the beauty of the songs often gets those bad feelings out of my head. I know Staley probably wasnt a 100% by any means, but the music itself was.
