I'm currently considering buying a sovtek mig 100. I've played one in the past and loved the sound for the price. It reminded me of a Marshall JMP, but I think the sovtek actually sounded better. Anyway, I've seen the Mig 60 around a lot lately, but I've never actually played one and was really curious what the differences are between it and the Mig 100.....other than the fact that one's 100 watts and one's 50 watts. If anyone has played both can you please give me some insight on how the mig 60 sounds and if one sounds better than the other.

50 W is usually enough for a valve amp, even less even.

My smallest amp is 30W and I never get to turn it up to 10, I think I keep it at 5 tops. So maybe a 15W amp, for me, would be enough when rehearsing.
Just to say that the higher the wattage the better the amp doesn't go hand in hand.

Sorry, I don't know anything about the sovtek amps.
