So-called mega star had a concert in Belgrade a few days ago! Total fiasco, see what it looked like ...The audience was shocked !

Well, it's a poor thing what this women did to herself, and I hope she will make it, not in career, but to come back to reality again.

Janis Joplin had similar problem, although she could sing when stoned smile.gif

I have heard about her going down hill as well!...

For comparison - this was shot three years ago:

Her addiction issues have been well publicized in the media for many years. After seeing her name in the news for awhile I happened to catch one of her concerts. To my surprise she was really good.. great voice, cool songs etc. Such a shame to see someone go down this path, and a pathetic waste of talent.

I never liked her music.

Reminds me of a line in a NoFX song "We don't have managements, we get to play loaded"...doesn't Amy have a management that keeps her off the bottle or off the stage? I saw this short clip on TV when I was at my mom's place and she said: "If that young lady keeps doing what she does, she's not gonna get old..."

Disgraceful.

She's a broken person in need of help. Another tragedy waiting to happen unless those close to her can intervene.

At least she gained some weight back. For a while she looked like a skeleton.

Dudes, believe me, if you're going down that path, it's really hard to get back on track. I've seen a friend die from heroin addiction last year. Everyone tried to stop him somehow, but he just wasn't strong enough. he was looking REALLY bad when i last saw him in march 2010 and in November he passed away. Shame! He was such a talented drummer...

Sadly, Cosmin is right.. if a person in that condition doesn't want to change then they won't.. but, like Gitarrero, I've always wondered what her management are doing/thinking half the time. Being from the UK, her antics and shambolic behaviour have always been in the press/news.. the worst thing is that it's not even behind closed doors, it's like a big public joke.

People are basically paying to see a drug addict on stage who's barely coping with everyday life.. the choices she makes to abuse herself are all hers but there has to be some quality control / intervention somewhere along the line, surely ?

Man i feel her, she dont want to be there. but the industry is pushing her

Don't get me wrong - but the burden of fame is very difficult. I hear various rumors here - she is pushed onto the stage, she did not want to sing, managers banned the drink in the hotel while she was staying there?!? I mean, like a cheap book to read ....
I listened to some of her songs and she really is masterly, but this is really a shame, spitting directly in the face of its fans!
Drugs, drinks and Rock and Roll, my God, what a mistake...stay away from it !! I purposely left out girls .. it can pass wink.gif

Yeah.. 27 appears to be the magic number, Morrison, Hendrix, Joplin and now Winehouse. What a terrible waste of talent.
So sad.

Yet another tragic fame/overdose/death story. Very sad stuff. I wasn't a huge fan or anything, but I remember hearing her on an early demo and being impressed by her voice. Soulful, bluesy, retro. But then she got famous and started to fall apart. She's been in the news here in the states for what seems like forever, with various rehab/overdose/drama stories. I am surprised she lasted this actually. Still sad.

RIP Amy...feels weird when I look back at my comment from the 22nd now. I was pretty shocked, but not really surprised when I heard the news.

The real tragedy, R.I.P. !
