Task 9 : https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Bens-Land-Of-Legato/
That's right, disciples..... it's legato time ! First, you need to warm up by jogging around the Temple 3 times, followed by 50 squats and 30 star jumps.. There's not a lot to explain.. it's time to focus on the fretting hand and build up more control and independence over the fingers. You'll probably find that it's difficult to control the timing of your 3rd and 4th fingers specifically. Don't worry too much and just accept the fact that it will be a little clumsy to begin with but it will improve the more you do it Deadline is next Thursday 29th March - Enjoy ! |

This is gonna hurt - I need this. I looked at it a while back and it's tough and painful on the left hand.

hey Ben, sorry dude, this legato lesson has been way tough for me. I think Im gonna need about a year to get this sussed! Just for the LOLZ I recorded it anyway just to at least show that I had been trying to get it. its at 60bpm and should be quite painful on your ears
http://soundcloud.com/bleez666/legatofail I actually found it easier to hit the notes at a faster bpm ( 80bpm) but I kept making mistakes towards the end ( going from the 13th fret on the B string to the 12th on the E.) so I had to really slow it down to 60bpm. I will keep working on it though, I'll record it each week and when it gets a bit better I'll give you a shout. -------------------- You say 'minor pentatonic ' like it's a bad thing |

Legatofail haha I'm glad you've got a sense of humour It is a tough lesson.. especially tough when you've only got a mildly distorted tone as well. Do you have a sound with more gain or is that it ? |
