I love the blues, but have never been very good at it..

So I need some advice on phrasing.

Thanks guys!

Although I don't know much about the blues either TJ, to me, it sounded good. I think the blues is all about feeling and sounded like you were feeling the moment. I think if you tweak your tone a bit, you will be all over it! smile.gif

Thanks man. smile.gif.

What don't you like about the tone? Cause that seems to be a constant problem that I can never fix..

Try this tone Tj. Record the same take with it. I do have actives so you may have to play with it a bit. smile.gif

It is good, phrasing is great, but in order to improvise you must know the chords of the harmony that is playing behind in order to really improvise good.

Hi, nice job. I agree with Ivan. You start some phrases really nice, but could choose a different note to stop (one that belongs to the chord being played...)
