Tom Waits is Awesome! He has inspired quite a few..Straight from James Hetfield's biography...

Who were his main influences?
Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Ted Nugent, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tom Waits, Nick Cave.

I can really recognize Hetfield in that video. smile.gif One can really see that he was influences by Waits. In the beginning, he sounds a bit like a cat or a tiger. laugh.gif "Roaarrrr!"

He's brilliant smile.gif

After my father put on the "Swordfish & Trombones" album many many years ago, I've been a huge fan of Tom Waits smile.gif

Check out In The Neighborhood and Underground, great songs smile.gif

Nick Cave is a really cool guy too, similar in some ways but different too smile.gif Check him out if anyone hasn't, I figure those other guys are already pretty well known.

Yeah Tom Waits is cool!
I like the Rain Dogs album, mostly because of the sound. Michael Blair who layed the drums on that album has such a cool way of playing. And the funniest thing is that I happen to know Michael Blair smile.gif He's a really cool guy!
