Hey all!

I'm new to the site and I just wanted to introduce myself.
So I'm a 23yo guy from Finland. Favourite bands are Queen, Metallica, HIM, Pantera, Slipknot, Megadeath... too many to write down actually. I Started playing acoustic guitar in 3rd grade but quit in 5th grade because I had no motivation to play anymore. I felt like I didn't learn anything and I that I was stuck. Anyways, some years later, at the age of 15 I asked my parents to buy me an electric guitar and to my surprise they did! Played for about 2 years and joined a band. After going to highschool I lost interest (again). A few years went by and I didn't even touch the guitar. I broke my elbow due to over-extending it at MMA practice. After it started healing it was obvious I couldn't do MMA anymore because the're was a piece of bone in between the 2 bones and doctors didn't wanna risk operating on it cuz it could've made it worse. That's when I decided to pick up the guitar again. It was great therapy for my arm and elbow. And that's when I found that motivation I had lost. I decided to hire a private teacher and now Im taking classes 4h/week. Been taking classes for 3 months now.

So how did I find this site? It was a coincident, I was looking through some chord-progressions at all-guitar-chords.com and I clicked on a link that got me here. I took the tour and I thought this was too good to be true so I decided to give it a shot. And I have to say that I am impressed! I can watch videos over and over again and the videos are high quality, and filled with usefull information. Correct me if I'm wrong but I understood that this site is still pretty new and there are a lot of things still to come. Can't wait!

Sorry if this is too long to read. I tried to make it short. smile.gif
