Did make some mistakes around that part, but couldn't be bothered to do yet another take. The scale is just a phrygian major scale. More precisily a D phrygian major. A few of pitch bends but overall i think you did a great job. The thing i think i like most is that this is a really long track, but you manged to vary your phrases enough to not repeat yourself much at all. Which takes alot of concentration and a good deep bag of licks to dig into. I love your tone, it fits the track good and you didnt go crazy with notes, i have heard alot of people improv over that track who just wacka noodle the whole thing. About the bends - yeah, I know I kinda went over the edge on some of those. At some points I wanted to bend about 1½-2 semitones up, but my hands were too sweaty due to the heat here, so I had to just give up on that, and then I just tried to do some strange Vai-esque bends.
