I would suggest wired headphones for recording. Part of why you don't see wireless headphones being used in the studio is because of latency. However, you can purchase a pair of "In Ear Monitors" that have no perceptible lag at all! However, these are intended for LIVE situations and not really meant for recording or mixing. So back to the start, I"d really say get a pair of decent cans with a cable smile.gif

Why are you wanting the wireless BTW?

Here is a link to a nice set of in ear monitors. They have zero lag, but are NOT cheap @ $699.

Hi Todd,

I want wireless headphones because the cable nerves me while I am playing guitar late in the evening....

A few month ago I have bought some "cheaper" wireless headphones, but when I pick a string I hear "3 hours" later the tone... thats rubbish unsure.gif

Ok, when I see the price for the "in ear monitors", I would buy me good headphones with cable rolleyes.gif

Thx for your help
Chris

i run my cable down my back and underneath me , so as to not get tangled up with me or the guitar

Happy to help smile.gif I also pull a CRSN and run the cable behind my head when recording.

As mentioned above, running the cable down your back is 'industry standard' as we say. Almost everybody does that.

*If you're using standard Blue Tooth transmission for the wireless headphones (or speakers) you'll always have latency. As much as 40 ms. I'm pretty sure anything that transmits digitally will have latency. Which is why wireless mics, in-ear monitors as well as guitars/basses transmit on FM or UHF bands. You can get relatively inexpensive wireless transmission headphones that connect directly to your audio outs (not usb).
Sennheiser makes a few pairs of FM transmitted wireless cans ... http://www.crutchfield.com/S-xIVIPUbiKZg/p_143RS140/Sennheiser-RS-140.html
