Lesson Request - In The Style Of Larry Carlton |

This site is awesome - keep up the good work!
I'd like to request a lesson in the style of Larry Carlton, one of my favorite guitarists. He's got an incredible touch, tone, phrasing, and fluidity to his playing, and his solos are always very tasty and full of emotion. Part of the secret to his sound is his unique use of the volume pedal to make his notes really sing. For those who aren't familiar with him, his style is a blend of jazz, blues, and rock. He won a Grammy as co-writer of the theme to "Hill Street Blues", the 80's American police drama, and has been nominated for a bunch of others. Prior to his solo career, he was a top studio guitarist, doing over 3,000 studio sessions by the early 80's. Some of his most famous guitar solos were on "Kid Charlemagne" and "Don't Take Me Alive" by Steely Dan. Wow...I agree. I'd never heard of him before this, but he sounds really good. I also think that there should be an In The Style Of Bang Camaro Lesson.

Carlton's an awesome player - apart from the stuff already mentioned I'd like an 'in the style of' The Lord's Prayer and the other acoustic/chordal melody stuff he's done.
QQ - isn't he potentially the one guitarist most people have heard - and probably liked - but never realised (Kid Charlemane, Hill St Blues, Don't Take Me Alive) ?
