Ok Gab, I told you I was going to make the next one interesting but I didn't expect it to turn out quite like this.. laugh.gif Anyhoo, hope you can dig it a little anyway.. rolleyes.gif

Lyrics

Ah yeah GMC
A little reggae from Gabe
Come on man come on..

1.2.1.2

Gabe provided the backing
Now it's up to us to play it
come on everybody

Let's get together...

Let me hear your guitar
Talk to me...

I want to hear you play it
Come on can't you see...

Ah yes, sounds so nice man
so nice..

laugh.gif

I also provided the finger clicks and somewhat of a lead guitar..Had fun too.. biggrin.gif

Here's mine. This is pretty far from what I'd typically play over, and is probably not very reggae... But it was fun!

Here's my effort. I started out trying to play mostly the triad notes as you suggested. Eventually I fell into mostly pentatonic...it just sounded right to me. Not very clean playing, but it was fun.

Here's my take with my POD2.0, Ibanez RG270, through a M-Audio Firewire 410 and in Ableton 8 Live Intro. smile.gif

Some timing problems at the beginning I think.

I recorded by part. First the whole song and them I made some partial takes where the timing wasn't exact or the sound not so cool.
Is that a shame ? tongue.gif

On the satisfaction scale, from 1 to 10 where 1 is "not satisfied" I would put a mark at about 6... That's much better than the 2 last collabs I did. tongue.gif
