My New Band

well i've been in this band called "Gatchet" and i've been second guitar. well we got a new guitarist and so we tried something new. two guitarist and two basses! i know it sounds weird but in our sound he will play more of the higher stuff and i will transpose(is that the right word :S ) it for the lower part and i will play it in drop d. tell me what ya think!!!

Help With Bass Tab

I really need the bass tabs for Alabama cause my bandmember says we're going to perform this on august 14th! I do not know yet the notes by ear but if someone could do this for me it would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Guitar W/ A Bass Amp

I got a electric guitar and i asked my local music dealer if i could use a bass amp with a electric guitar. he said it was fine and i found out as well, but when i play the high note on the e string such as 18-21 it is very short and and hardly is hearable, so my question is should I get a guitar amp or do my pickups suck??

How To Practice When Injured

well, I was playing frisbee golf for the first time with some friends and I saw how they were throwing it and I tried to throw it like them and i injured the forearm muscle in my hand and cant even make a firm grip on anything! how should I practice if i can't pick?

New To Guitarmasterclass

just like to start off by saying hi and yes,kris, I too am a fisherman FISHING RULES!

I started out guitar career in 6th grade. I bought a bass and played it but then soon it became a dust collector. Then this year i was at a guitar hero party and i said this out loud to the whole party "screw 5 buttons I wanna do the real thing!" so went and bought me a strat and started messin' around not really doin' anything constructivefor the first four months. Then yesterday i was on ultimate guitar and saw Kristofer with his lesson. This guy blew me away with his skills and his teaching method. And I liked his personality and thought he was quite funny. . So right away I told my mom to put in the credit card number for guitarmasterclass so I could started right away. My goals are to improve in left hand quicknes in string changing and in all around playing, my other goal is to take over the lead part in my band . I know with the fine instuctors and the right practice I'll(we'll) get there. This site has already taught me so much in such little time. I would like to thank Kris and all the GMC staff for what they do here. Tremendous site
