Being able to recognize the exact rhythmic pattern is really useful, not just in a band situation, but also during transcribing or learning existing songs. So for purposes of practicing this skill, I have chosen a short segment from Billy Cobham's "Red Baron".

Question:

What is the rhythm starting at 0:12, where the repeated segment begins?

For the first correct answer, I give out a special gift: the downloadable Timeless Hour Bonus Pack, with lots of goodies in there (TABs, full backing track, and a bonus track).

Answers can come via Guitar Pro or Tux files, or it can be define with words (e.g. 2 eighth notes, then 3 fourth notes...)
