Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi,

This is my take to Stephane Lucarelli's lesson "Triad & Comping".
https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Triads_Comping/

I'm not satisfied with it, but I've already spent A LOT of time on this!!

The video quality sucks: I had a good raw file, but for some reason, there was a huge loss of quality when I imported it with iMovie.

Could you create a Poll for grading? Thanks. If unsure on how to, here is a link to help.. smile.gif

Very good take. There were some problems with timing, you are not strumming everything exactly on the click. Try a bit more precise strumming motion with the picking hand.

Hi Phil,

Nice take man! smile.gif
I think you could easily improve your timing & rhythm placement.
Your playing should be very tight with rhythm section on this kind of stuff.

I like this take. I would go for a bit sharper and more agressive strumming. Cut the strums short like a pro funky player smile.gif You have a nice feel for strumming. Good work
