Ha! Too right. I have to keep bouncing midi tracks then unloading instruments while I work on parts, then once the other part is done and bounced, return to the first and reload the instrument, delete the bounce and do more work on the midi part. Rinse and repeat.

.....I only wish my budget would cover a new computer now! dry.gif

I'm scoring a film called KUMITE and using much of the same stuff. I really dig this new thing from NATIVE INSTRUMENTS called EVOLVE MUTATIONS that is based on the Heavyocity engine. Great for scoring work. Check it out.

Here is a little preview

@ Bear - I don't have a vidcam and I can't be bothered learning how to record the screen. But there are plenty of tutes on youtube for all kinds of stuff. Check out some of the Alex Pfeffer ones.

@ Todd - I have all 3 Evolve products. Brilliant sounds. :-) They formed a large part of my last album. Preview is sounding cool, very mysterious and suspenseful.

I should have known you were already into evolve smile.gif Very cool engine. Heavyocity is just killer. And stacking them can really generate some unexpected results. Also the internal generation engine in evolve is just amazing. Planning to use it a lot in the kumite score.

It's edgy, it's industrial, it's punchy. All the elements to get my attention. smile.gif

After Kumite is public, it would be cool if you could post some youtube clips.

Will do smile.gif I can't even mention the name of the first film I scored due to contractual obligations but as soon as I can, I'll share that one too. I"d like to post the entire score if possible. Kumite is an indie short, really a pitch piece so I don't think I"ll have any problems sharing it.
