Your playing on this lesson is impressive. Your timing is precise, and your vibrato wide and very malmsteenish. I think that with some little adjustments, this could be top level. These are some comments:

- I note some tuning issues in your guitar. There is at least one string that is not precise.
- The first bend pitch is not precise.
- I think that this would sound better with a warmer tone with a bit more sustain.
- Sometimes you start the vibrato too early. Let the note sound and then add it gradually.
- Your left hand don't look comfortable in some of the faster runs. It seems that you are not used to those fingerings. Some three note per string scale sequences would be great for your diary practice.


That's all, again, this is a very good take and those are just details. Keep on working.

Nice work As Gab pointed - there are some pitch issues in here - aside from more precise tuning before recording, your bends tend to loose the pitch on vibrato. When you start to bend vibrated note, you need to make sure it alwas go back to a perfect pitch point - in other words always push and release with the same strength amount.

Your right hand looks good - comfortable and relaxed. Your left hand a little less but there's no audioable feel of this. Your hand sync is good and you keep a tight timing. As for the tone there will always be a difference not only in treble amount but with a dynamics response - caused by humbucker and single coil playing response difference. I presonally...wouldn't change the tone. For me it's ok considering it's not harsh.

Another cool take!

Although I do think you understand what kind of vibrato is needed for this solo - your performance is not there yet. The first wide-vibrato-bends at 00:08 need to be executed faster and wider - which I personally find very difficult. It is really tricky to do this while hitting the right pitch constantly - like Yngwie and Lavendell do.

Your tone is pretty different from the typical Yngwie strat tone. To get closer, try to dial in a bright tone. With your current guitar you will need to experiment with turning down low midrange and bass frequency - and adding more presence and treble.

Also your tone is dryer than Lavendell's which makes it harder to get away with mistakes etc.

I can still hear precision work in your technique and I def think you are on the right track. You get a 7 from me.
