Weird German Weight Loss Program ! |

I just stumbled across this article about a health spa in Germany (of course... where else ?) that is advocating a program of drinking alcohol to distract the body from hunger pangs, thus resulting in weight loss. You have to read it to believe it.

It's a temporary result rather than a psychological change which is needed. What do you guys think ? |

We've got this saying in Germany: "3 beers are one meal!"
 In other regions (Bavaria, where else...) they say 7 beers are one meal... -------------------- |

But alcohol is 1 empty calories, 2 slows your metabolism, 3 increases estrogen production which encourages fat storage.
