My daughter is going to the doctor this morning to see if she's as pregnant as she thinks she is.

I'm a big mixed ball of emotions right now. Lots of and and going on.

/I just turned 38. My daughter is 21, I did a step-parent adoption when she was 6 or 7.

That is a bit early to be a grandfather, I'd say. Not that it matters though. My own grandmother is 90 My grandfather, was he still alive, would be 94

EDIT: and I'm 19.

Woah, man! I feel like I have ancient parents now! Haha. My father is turning 60 soon, and my mom is turning 57 soon. And as said, I'm 19.

I believe btw that being a parent you spend your time telling your child, 'No!', whilst a grandparent spends their time finding ways for the grandchild to make the parent shout, 'No!'

My parents were kind of young when my brother and sister (TWO SEPARATE CHILDREN I ASSURE YOU!) had their first children so the age doesn't seem really weird to me. So congratulations Pops

congrats! funny thing is im 17 and my dad is 39! if my dad EVER became a grandfather, same with my mom. if they became grandparents, now. oh my goodness. i'd be on my own. hahaha.

Now when you are babysitting you can spoil the h*ll out of that kid, and when he/she gets too difficult or annoying you just unload it back to the parents..

naw the age isn't weird, I am 21 and my grandparents are 58 and 61 so its pretty much the same idea. Congratulations !

congratulations the discussion seems to be age.. my family has pritty large gaps. my grandma is 85 my parents are in their 60's and im 20 .. now your whole job is to spoil your grandkids, bring them to your house, fill them with sugar and right before it kicks in send them home for your daughter to deal with
