Hello, I've recently started my quest to read music properly, and after getting tired of some boring drills on the guitar with some papers I've gotten from my guitar teacher, I browsed around the internet to try to find some cool application. Finally, I found a good site in my bookmarks (and I suppose the page ended up in my bookmarks a while ago thanks to somebody linking it on GMC), I found a site with a cool little note reading trainer, and I figured I should share it with you here if anyone is in the same position as I am.
http://www.musictheory.net/trainers/html/id82_en.html That's the link, and it seems great so far, I'd recommend it. |

http://www.karajan-eartrainer.com/en/ This is an application especially for the iTouch and iPhone which I am using quite a lot. Good thing about this one is that you can eartrain on: - Intervals - Chords (also extended onces) - Scales (also exotic ones) - Pitch - Tempos You can fully customize the actual training, so e.g. you can only choose Dorian and Aeolian for scale training, to really recognize both scales properly etc. -------------------- "Don't practice until you get it right. I use GNU solfege for ear training which does also support a guitar input mode and much more stuff. But I suck at hearing intervals
