Hey Mister M, that was tasty work

During the main riff near the beginning I felt you could have made the riffs sound a bit more staccato, like Sinisa does. You could cut off the sound just after you play the A5 chord, just to give it a bit more of a snappy feel.

In some places you tend to skip ahead of the beat just a little so watch out for that - both during rhythm and solo work.

There are some licks that could be polished up, like 0:29. You're missing the notes in some places with the picking hand. The ascending lick at 0:56 sounds a bit awkward. It could be a tuning issue maybe ? But these are only small issues.

Overall I like your tone and your feel. The ending was really cool as well

Hey mate,

I agree with Ben and in addition, I think that you could clean up the tone a little bit, by taking off some of the gain - in that way, you will lose the unwanted sounds that can be heard in the beginning, for instance, right before you mute a chord.

About the details that Ben stated, maybe it would be a good idea to use the slower backing tracks and focus on those details so that you may see if they need to be practiced more or if it was just a matter of losing attention a bit.

Hi MisterM! Congrats on your first rec take! This is a killer lesson for working on rhythm.

I think that you did a good job learning the whole thing and now it's time to adjust details to get the most of this one. The most interesting part of this one is Sinisa's interpretation of the tune. His ways of managing dynamics and articulation are unique and gives the tune a unique feeling. Listen carefully to the original lesson and note how he manages silences, notes length and intensities. There is a parallel world existing at that level that can be really useful to learn and practice.

Listen to the original, listen to your take, compare, play along with the main video and work on smaller parts.
