Howdy mate - this sounds like Satriani playing post-rock biggrin.gif

I think that you should take care of a very important aspect when using delay - tell me do you record with the delay coming from an external source or do you add it afterwards in the DAW? I am asking because the delay rate is different from the tempo of the piece - have you ever set the delay rate according to a track tempo?

Those arpeggios (starting at 1:44) sounded pretty fluid - good work there!

I still notice a lot of timing issues in general - please work on being in sync with the drums man.. it's a shame not to, because this can be a totally awesome track - 03:52 - sounds like an awesome feel and touch!

As I said before, your composition is so nice. I like the different atmospheres that you create in this one. The phrases are very cool. I also agree with Cosmin, there are some sections where your playing and delay setting are not in sync with the backing. Pay attention to this and your compositions will be taken to a new level.

Well done!! Very good work here and good recording. As GABRIEL mentioned, there are a few timing issues here and there. For example about :53 seconds in, the synch between guitar and drums drifts a bit. This can be exaggerated by delay times that don't match the beat. Most delays will let you "tap tempo" so you can adjust the rate by tapping in tempo with the beat of a song. If not, try experimenting with different values.

I never really learned the delay stuff before I just fiddled with it till I got the closest that was satisfying , I will use your delay instructions

I'm Also going to resubsribe so I can view all sections and now after viewing that video theres two things maybe you can help me out in

Time Signatures and How to apply what I know in standard E into Drop C such as scales and chords

Hey mate smile.gif Glad to help, as always. I have a suggestion, why not talk about time signatures and the tuning perspectives in here: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...showtopic=46729 wink.gif It is your thread and we should definitely use it smile.gif

Another Buckethead style lesson? That could be cool. What side would you like to see covered?
