Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Sorry for the sound, I recorded directly with the mobile phone. I have had problems with GR5. I await your comments. Thank you.

Overall, this is well played and has a LOT of feeling and vibe. Both are key bits of any blues playing IMHO smile.gif There are a few snags like the bit at 51 seconds in. It's a tough landing to nail, but it sticks out a bit. On the whole though I think you have a very good understanding of piece. It does seem like you might still be struggling with some of the execution of the piece though. I'd suggest woodshedding it a bit more and perhaps coming back for another take.

Hi mate,

I have to agree with Todd and say that even with some parts that needs adjustment regarding timing, or overall performance, your playing is really expressive and enjoyable in this take. Your vibrato and tone (even with the bad recording thing) are just perfect for this style.

I would continue practicing this one, trying to polish those faster licks that are not sounding tight, and also some bends in the second half that are not reaching the pitch smoothly.

Keep on the great job!

Agreed - you are playing like you mean it and we can tell!

To me it seems your guitar is not in tune or has intonation problems (especially the G string) this prevented me from fully enjoying the take.

I also reacted on a faster passage where your hands were not fully in sync - however that stuff is of minor importannce if the rest is played with passion.
