I thought this might be a cool thread for iPhone and iPod touch users. I have a few apps that I use regularly. I've been working on my theory a lot lately and here are some good apps to help with that.....
1)Musicopoulos.......very good for learning theory.
2)fretsurfer.......helps you learn the names of the notes on the neck.....this one is very cool. Ony uses frets 0-11 though. Sorry VictorUK.....
3)Key signature quiz.......self explanatory. You can do this on Musicopoulos as well but the program does it better IMO.
These programs are great to work on your musical knowledge in your spare time so it doesn't cut into your 'Playing time".....use it at the airport or on the toilet etc......
First one sounds good!!!
Now, if only I had an iPhone!!!
Thanks man! The AppStore is such a plow to look for stuff in. It's nice when people share useful apps they've found.
That's pretty cool, thanks for sharing the apps
very cool, thanks for sharing!
I have Musicopolous as well and think it is excellent. I also use guitar tool kit it has a tuner, metronome and chord shapes you can strum to hear what they sound like. Pretty cool app.
