Been struggling with the timing of the second strum on this. Please don't be too critical of the chords as my left elbow is damaged, it's more the timing. Cheers

Glad to see you in here posting this!

I think it's more a matter of playing more with the original recording, as you know the formula and your timing seems pretty sturdy, so I'd say it's more a question of balance here. Feeling it is the thing, so this will be achieved by playing more with the original formula. When in doubt, watch the video I sent I think it covers up the formula well.

Indeed, your elbow seems to be a nag and not allow you to grasp the chord shapes correctly, so please make sure you take care of it and focus on them as well.

Hi Phil, this is sounding better.

I notice you've relaxed and let the 2nd strum happen in the right place as before you were hitting it a bit too early.

Now of course the annoying thing is keeping on top of the other strums as well. The section from 0:20 to 0:26 is the most consistent so if you can replicate that more often you're getting there !

Hi Phil! Great to see you working on your timing! As the guys said, there is still work to do in order to make your rhythm playing tighter. I recommend you to tap with your foot while you play to feel the rhythm while you play this one. It will help you to be sure that you are going with the groove. You can also use your head to mark the tempo. The idea is to feel the groove with your whole body while you play, that's the goal. Keep on practicing and keep me updated about the progress!
