hi guys, i thought i would share a couple of photo,s of my new custom strat, i just got my long awaited neck from Warmoth the other day, had to wait 2 months for it but it was worth it for sure, the only thing i,m waiting for to put this together is my gold bridge which i really hope will be in this week? i can hardly wait to start playing this beast!
WOW! stunning
congratz dude
That's a sweet looking thing!!!!
That's a really nice strat man.
Really beautiful, now start drawing dots on that neck
Ohhh, it looks amazing indeed, congrats!!
Awesome! I LOVE sunburst with a pearloid pickguard on a strat...no guitar looks better than that in my opinion!
Beautiful, guitar, Buzz! Thanks for posting that. I, and many others, would like a detailed description of your build, if you don't mind posting it. If you have already, please forgive. I didn't search before I saw your photos!

Please ost some clips so we can hear it once its complete.
The neck looks great, did Warmoth put the Fender logo on? also what make are the tuners?
Now that's a beautiful Strat guitar man, great!
Nice looking axe!
What kind of pickups are used on this beautiful Strat?
Cool, though Im going to be honest, I hate the colours:D
Very nice!!
This looks awesome. A friend of mine has one with similar finish but this one looks better.
hi guys, i,m glad you like it & thanks for the nice comments, this is for you NO SKILL, the body i bought off of e-bay i think the company name is IRON HORSE, the neck i ordered from Warmoth, because i did not want the fret dots they had to make the neck for me and it took 2 months but if i bought one of theirs off the shelf it would have taken maybe 3 weeks? it has a compound radius 10 deg. at the nut & flattens out to 16 deg. at the 22 fret, a black tusq xl nut, the tuners are gotoh 510 mini locking and have a ratio of 18 to 1, the pickguard is a aztec gold pearloid and the pickups are a seymour duncan JB jr in the neck and the bridge and a duckbucker in the middle with a 5 way switch, all the gold hardware came from Stewart Macdonald and Guitar parts resource, and the Fender stratocaster decal i applied myself, i got that off of kijjiji, as soon as my bridge comes in i,ll get it together and post another REC lesson or a sound clip, thanks everyone for your interest!
Dude, that looks sweet!!
Wow wow wow wow wow
I've been waiting to see this axe ever since you showed us the bodya few weeks back. Now I'm drooling. It's probably the sweetest strat I've seen.
Now I'd love to hear it!
Hi Fran, thank you very much for nice comments, YEAH!! i can,t wait to get my bridge so i can get this thing finished. you bet fran that i,ll get it into a REC video a.s.a.p i,m really curious to hear what it,s gonna sound like too!!....hears hoping??
Can you believe that guitar is so gorgeous I didn't even realize it had no bridge?
I wondered why you hadn't stringed it
Buzzard, is this the first guitar you build? if so, how much money did you spend on it if I may ask
Love the finish mate, looks very well done! Cant wait to hear it, are those lil 59's?
Wow thanks Fran!!!....
Rated htr....yes this is my first totally from scratch build, i built a few before but not to this extent, the total guitar cost me around $1650 canadian dollars.
Sted....the pickups are JB jr neck & bridge & duckbucker in the middle
Beautiful !!
Wow guitar looks stunning! Can't wait to hear it in action!
This is a beautiful piece! Congrats and enjoy it!
