Hey everybody!
I am thinking of buying a Roland (Boss) ME-25 multi-effects (after I try it out of course!). They are selling for 200 (US) and that is my max limit. I'm not good at playing but I know I will be eventually and this is probably the only time I will have the money. Also, I have been noodling through a Digitech RP-80 for years and I am tired of it biggrin.gif . The reviews are all awesome but I would like to hear from people who are not trying to sell me something. If any of you have any thoughts on this, I'd be glad to hear them. Thanks!

I like Boss products, and you must know that this is one of the devices that you can't expect some special sound quality. But I looked at his specification and what's interesting - there are plenty of good features that will help you, such as Built-in AUX input,Looper, SONAR 8.5 LE software !! For that price - extra offer smile.gif ! $165.95

Thanks! I went ahead and ordered it today after seeing the demo. Got it for right at $200. My local shop was sold out and have more coming in next week. I went ahead and paid for it so I could be sure to get it. For anyone interested, here is ademo about it: Roland ME-25 demonstration

It arrived! I picked it up Wednesday afternoon and I have to say, it is incredible! It certainly has many more features than I need at this stage in my playing but I love it! My wife had surgery Thursday so I haven't been able to mess around with it all that much, but I have tried a few things (the loop feature being one of them) and this thing is great! The only thing I had before this was a Digitech RP80, which I bought in 2005, so this is like going from a bicycle to a Ferrari for me. smile.gif
If you buy this, the power supply is sold separately mad.gif so plan on spending an extra $25 or so.

Boss is pretty good thing for the price!
I don't think you can go wrong with the price and quality you will get!

Yeah, I've been using Boss ME-25 for anout two years now It is my first processor so I have nothing to compare it to. But I find its sound great. You can check out my youtube channel (in my signature), all my videos are shot with it. Unfortunately I couldn't find good users' presets in the internet, so I had to make my own. Anyway, you can download some presets from boss official site and built in presets are also pretty good.
