Each morning, without almost no exception at all, Cosmin is waking up around 8 AM, grabs his breakfast and comes upstairs to his desk and laptop to start the day on the GMC forum.

His companion for this delightful activity is his green Euro 2012 mug (I am no soccer fan, but the mug looks amazingly beautiful and has almost no connection with soccer, design wise, aside from the Euro 2012 logo), received in Warsaw as a gift which is usually filled with a wonderful combination of coffee, milk and honey.

I haven't been drinking coffee until 2006 when I was still in college and I had a very good Italian friend (Giovanni) who used to help me learn all those crazy engineering things I was studying back then. After each study session, he cooked an amazing meal and after we ate, he always prepared Italian coffee. What a delight!

That was the beginning of my coffee drinking. Through time, I have never abused this thing and had no more than my usual mug, in the morning, although I was surrounded by people who were drinking coffee like it was water laugh.gif

What's your coffee story mates? Do you enjoy it? If yes, how do you drink it?

Cosmin

I am no coffee drinker, I don't need it in the morning to get going and I don't even have a coffee maker laugh.gif

When two of my friends were visiting me I told them I had no coffee maker, since I knew they were drinking coffee every 3 hours or so.
They said it was no problem, they could go without for two days.
5 hours after they arrived we had to go to a café cause they couldn't take it any longer laugh.gif

Sometimes I enjoy an espresso after a meal in a restaurant, but that's it for me.

I absolutely love coffee - I drink several cups a day from a large green mug. The first thing I do when I wake up is make breakfast and drink coffee smile.gif

Since half a year I eat only fruits until 12 o'clock and drink a lot of herbeltea to detoxify my body. this is sometimes very difficult because before this I used to start my day with a cup of coffee with lots of milk. mellow.gif
Exactly at 12 o'clock I can't await my cup of coffee from the Miele Fully Automatic Coffee Machine witch pulverizes the coffeebeans freshly and makes a lot of milk froth on the top. And then- as the high point: a lot of double cream!!! wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif
Until this perfect moment, I spend my time with playing guitar- since a few days. That really helps me!!!! biggrin.gif

I usually make sure the first drink of the day is a coffee, then the next couple will be tea.. then no more hot drinks for the rest of the day.

If I'm out in a town though, I love nothing more than finding somewhere that does a decent Costa Coffee and I'll grab a caramel latte ! biggrin.gif

LOL! Im like one of those people! I drink so much coffee. Other than trying to play guitar my secondary obsession is weights / fitness and my coffee intake is probably in direct conflict with that but I just dont care biggrin.gif
cheap-ish instant coffee or more sophisticated blends...... I dont mind, Im drinking it all. I have this vanilla flavoured instant one just now which is awesome.

Does anyone watch 'Futurama'? theres an episode where Fry drinks 100 cups of coffee in 1 day...... thats something I'd could probably shoot for biggrin.gif Im sure having a cartoon character as a role model is okay.

Hmmm... Interesting thread.

I love coffee too biggrin.gif But, my mom doesn't let me have much tongue.gif So, everyday, when Yash wakes up, he needs a glass or two of chocolate flavored milk wink.gif I've been drinking chocolate flavored milk almost every morning as far as I can remember. biggrin.gif And, for coffee, I used to have a strong Choco-Coffee flavored milk when I used to prepare it myself, but, mom closed it down too laugh.gif So, thats my coffee. laugh.gif When I go to Russia, I'll start with the choco-coffee again wink.gif Thats my health secret laugh.gif Chocolate and milk, with a mix of coffee biggrin.gif

I love coffee, all different kinds, flavors, and varieties. Usually drink two in the morning and one in the evening around 4-5 P.M. I also like tea, so sometimes in the morning I have trouble deciding which to drink on that particular day! smile.gif

One italian espresso with my breakfast, 3 or 4 cups of coffee with milk during office time and one in the evening with cake during my guitar time. That's it.

everyday, with few exceptions, up between 5-530, my 24 ounce mug gets filled with coffee-hazelnut creamer and a hint of cinnamon
when I leave for work at 8 after a few hours of coffee and guitar ,
I take 2 mugs with me , but once their gone that's my daily allowance
