Here's just a few that come to mind...

Marty Friedman's solo on "Angel" from his Scenes album.

Mattias IA Eklundh's vibrator solo on "Apparatus" from the first Freak Guitar album.

Brett Garsed's slide solo on "Got the Horn" from his debut solo album, Big Sky.

... but my all-time favorite is probably THIS!

There alot of music out there. You should check out alot of the solo's listed on here. smile.gif

I will just say one in my head i love. Holy Wars by Megadeth . smile.gif

Van HALEN=hOT FOR TEACHER

There are alot of great solo's that everyone has listed on here especailly floods.I was confused about the post that said THIS as favorite solo because it just sounded like trance music tongue.gif

This is a really hard question...but i would say:
Technical difficulties solo by racer x
The curse of the castle dragon solo by Paul Gilbert
Old love solo by eric clapton
learning to live solo by dream theater
and many other solos made by awesome bands (Maiden,Guns and roses, TOTO etc...)

Being a good guitar tech is a very different and extremely difficult job, so why not leave it to a pro?"

My all-time favorite would have to be the solo in Second Heartbeat by Avenged Sevenfold, its the reason I started practicing seriously. Some others would be Needled 24/7 and Sixpounder by Children of Bodom, Six by All that Remains, and Cry For Eternity by Dragonforce cool.gif

Scary Kids Scary Kids - Losing My Religion
Metallica - Nothing Else Matters
Children Of Bodom - Downfall

There are too many solos that I like... at this moment I remember 3... Sweet Child o'mine or Estranged solos (Slash), No more tears (Zakk Wylde), For the love of god (Steve Vai).
