I love all metallica solos, but solo in Harvester of Sorrow is so horrible(the song isn't), the worst solo i ever heard, kirk had to be completely stoned when writing that solo

Well its a hard question but the solo Lonely in the Night by Eric Johnson comes close to beeing branded favorite.

I really couldnt say what my my favourite solo was but Mikael Åkerfeldt is easily my favourite guitarist because Opeth rocks my world.

There are too many solos that I like... at this moment I remember 3... Sweet Child o'mine or Estranged solos (Slash), No more tears (Zakk Wylde), For the love of god (Steve Vai).
