GMC Forum _ GEAR & PRODUCTION _ My Baby Finally Got Home!

Posted by: Staffy Jan 8 2010, 12:28 PM

Since my supposed-to-be christmas present was delayed from the factory, I had to wait until today when she finally arrived.
Here's some pics from the home-coming and a review is of course coming up! smile.gif

All the way from far America.....

When un-packing a beauty some serious tools are a must!!!!

... and with a little violence most problems can easily be solved.....

Now, here she is! Just laying there and getting to know her new home!

She learned to walk pretty fast and can already stand up!!!!

She sure got a prettier head than my ex-girlfriend!

Note the bindings and the string height... amazing....

Rear view of the head.....

And she sure also got a more nice-looking back than my former girlfriend.....

Yeah, a hammer is good to everything!! The most versatile tool ever made!
But I think she will be disappointed to team-up with an ugly guy like me, I guess she would have preferred
some more handsome guy like Robin Williams or Boy George... laugh.gif

Oooh, I forgot, for those who don't know this piece of gear it's a Brian Moore handcrafted guitar from their top-of-the-line production.
It has USB-interface built-in as well as piezo-microphones and a 13-pin output. The hardware is just top-notch with Seymour Duncan pick-ups and Sperzel tuners.... Here's the link: www.iguitar.com

Thx. Ivan! This is the by now the most easy played instrument I've ever played.... Guess I have to heighten the strings a bit, or otherwise I might end up shredding.... laugh.gif

Yeah, its really amazing... I have never played a guitar with that low action that still has the TONE.... and I've played a lot in my days... It really freaks me out, cause at the same time I want to heighten the strings it's just so easy to play that everything goes like 25% faster... Im quite ambivalent right now..... biggrin.gif

Well, I like trashy guitars as well, especially if they are old... smile.gif But this one shall look this way... Oh, it was not cheap.... the regular price is 5.300$ but I got some off, since I bought it directly from the owner of the factory...
