Hi Muris since I've joned GMC I've been a great fan of your style and your lessons. First I want to thank you for all the inspiration you gave me...

Now, about my question, I am playing a standart amercan stratocaster (entirely rosewood) with medium frets. I think I can replace medium frets with jumbo ones. And as my nr1 inspiration I wanted to ask you which fret size do you use? MEdium or jumbo, and is it adventagious to replace medium frets with jumbo ones... What are the setbacks?

thank you...

First of all thank you for your kind words, that was very nice. smile.gif

I use kind of medium frets on my custom.
I can't tell the size in mm but it's medium, yeah.
With jumbo frets you get more sustain when pushing string down,
more sustain as well.
Setback might be the action,
cause you'll have to set it little bit higher to avoid buzzing. smile.gif

ok then I think I'll keep my medium frets as long as I dont get too frustrated about hammer-on pull-off and tapping sustain.

And on the other news, I am glad to claim that I may have invented a new technique... I am too shy to demonstrate it before I get pro about it but I think it's new stuff biggrin.gif

And I assure you you will be the first to know about it as I think you are the one to perfect it wink.gif
