OMG that scale generator is the best thing since they put the pocket in pita, I am designing exotic scales right now for tonights band rehearsal.

How are you guys using it?

I`m new here just curious about what people are using to get their sound?

In my into I mentioned I am used a 1974 which is an 18 watt Marshall combo, For the most part it is on my latest rehersal clips but my main amp and one that I gig with is a 1959 Marshall 100 watt superlead and 4/12 with greenbacks.

The superlead is my main amp for giging but for practical purposes not being used at band rehearsals, I should say right now with my current project.

I am a night owl and sometimes only in the wee hours does the writers block lift, thats when I`m using Logic pro and loops and amp sims working on my latest. Running low through the monitors or just head phones. I can play for hours and bother no one which is great.

Sometimes If I need the sound of my superlead I plug into my attenuator, set the attenuator on load using no cabinet and use the line out to my interface, great tube sound, eq and effects to taste, and I`m running my 100watt silently at three o clock in the morning. smile.gif

I am pretty boring and basic in the guitar department, I own a black Les Paul Studio (hate the binding look) and American Standard Strat, I also own and use an Ibanez 8 string.

So what have you guys been up to?

Hey
Hi There!, I have been invited to GuitarMasterClass for participation and learning and I hope to learn lots of new stuff about everything. I have been playing guitar for 20+ years, played in many bands, own a recording studio and I am a gear hound. I play all styles to some degree but I was an 80`s kid and you know what that means.

Metal, Hardcore Punk, and I have always liked classic rock blues and jazz.

A guy can never know it all, so much to all this, I hope there is something I can offer with my own experiences.

Right now my rig is a 1974 Marshall and a Les Paul with various pedals.

Thank you for having me and I look forward to meeting you!

Cheers, BAF
