Well, pinky is the hardest one Roo.
I support it sometimes with ring finger, when ring is available of course. smile.gif

Any new points of view?

There are more and more players who use it, specially great for stretchings. But it is very tough to get a neat sound.
Basically, Im happy if any of my fingers have the same accuracy than others. I mean even if you dont use the pinky it feels great to know you can use it.

I see..
Pinky has real troubles to hit the string, that's for sure.
I think it has a lot with angle of right hand.
Moving it around will change accuracy of pinky...
I set mine in ALMOST like mirrored image of left hand, with just a small angle.

I think 75% of 8 finger tapping is knowing which angle to set your hand at, and 25% strength, i can use my pinky pretty good and fast (Fast is still rather slow compared to my normal playing speed) when i play at my (Now) normal 'Angle Of Attack', BUT...if i move it just a slight bit different angel, im useless.

You have to find the sweet spot so you get the most accuracy i think.
