Don't hesitate to ask for help when it comes to creating beats to your riffs. I'm here to help!
I might even make a lesson out of your riff and how I created the beat. |

Hi Kyle - your first lesson was awesome!
I have been programming MIDI drum beats for years and know the basics, but I am not approaching it as a drummer would - my biggest problem is creating interesting fills. For example, the fill you used in your first lesson never occured to me, it sounds awesome and would be simple to program - that is an area that really intrerests me, coming up with decent sounding fills. Even when I use products like EZDrummer and Addictive drums, with their pattern libraries, I find that the fills are all way too flashy - I like fills that push things along and build excitement, and work with the song, I don't want a drum solo every 8 bars. So, a lesson, or series of lessons on fills would really interest me! -------------------- Check out my Instructor profile
