It's finally happened. The repetitive nature of much of the really band 010101010101000010001100100011 DJENT bands has been reduced to a simple script running inside software called max msp. The kicker is that it sounds better than a lot of bands who try to mimmic this style smile.gif It randomly generates breakdowns.

Here is the vid smile.gif

Heheheh this is a bit disturbing as it does sound pretty cool! smile.gif
I'm not into djent but I'd guess the randomness in breakdowns and riffing/lick patterns is actually the trademark of the genre?
If so, it makes sense that his script gives good results emulating it.

I know right? It reduced Djent/Math Core to a simple script that you can run on a PC smile.gif

Lots of folks are critical of the genre for it's abuse of the open string and repetitive phrasing. This video is pretty damning evidence on that front smile.gif It is in fact, very repetitive as a form and can easily be created by computer. It's almost like "dance music" or "Rap" In that the basic form is so prescribed that it can be devoid of human thought and still sound like BORN OF OSIRIS.
