Next wednesday children of bodom are doing a signing in a record store in Dublin before they play a show in Vicar St., and I cant go to either!!!!!!!!!! sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif

I have no money, and even if I did I cant get anyone to go with me sad.gif ! I'd do anything to meet Alexi Laiho and Roope Latvala! I would have to be in Dublin for 9am (if not earlier to get in the queue!) to get a wristband for the signing Wednesday, then go back up for wednesday!!!! It would cost me around €60 for the two buses and €30 for a ticket to the show, which is pretty cheap I suppose but having NO money throws a spanner in the works! Im so annoyed!!!

Another thing is I might have a job next week in which case I will have money but wont be able to go Dublin because i'll be working!!! sad.gif (on the plus side if I get the job I'll be getting paid which = new gear)

well it might help to know that I for months was hoping and believing that they would come to norway this summer.. It's a new festival called Hove which is already becoming the biggest festival here in norway and I was almost shure that they would book CoB.. It was the perfect band for the current line-up and on Bodom's web site there was an open spot between other festivals in europe where Hove could have fitted perfectly in. Then one day CoB filled that opening with a tour in australia! sad.gif

I know how you feel, man. Eric clapton is playing in Poland at the end of the summer and I cant get nobody to go with me. Sometimes things just arent the way you want them to be.

Go on your own and meet people outside. I've been to a few gigs on my own before and I've met people before the gig and gone for drinks in the pub and had a great time. It is a great opportunity to meet new friends smile.gif

Hey man,
that is a real shame!! You know I didnt get to see Paul play in bristol (only one hour away) for many reasons, including cash flow, haveing to work , and no friends to join me. But im confident i will get to see him in the future smile.gif

On the plus side, while im not going to gigs im practicing really hard - there is always a positive side to things! cool.gif

I saw Clapton with Derek Trucks in San Diego about a year ago. It was an amazing show!

The thing is, I live in the northern side of Lithuania and Eric Clapton is playing near the southern border of Poland and the Czech Republic. Im quite too young to travel these far distances on my own for now.
