First a few things I must mention, The clean guitars sound "hesitant" because they are 8 finger tapping, And im not the best at it, But im trying. Secondly, there are some random volume swells after the 8 finger tapping riff, Gotta fix that, Other than that, I hope you enjoy it, I've spent all day working on this And I quite like the end product, Especially the two dive bom dections, I had fun doin that smile.gif

Let me know what you think, Any adive and/or suggestions is much welcomed.

Nice!

I love this kinda stuff.

Are your rhythm guitar tracks actually played separately? Or are they doubled and nudged a bit? They are locked in with each other VERY well.

The open high hat or whatever that is off to the left gets a bit monotonous.

Yeah I know about the hi-hat, but I work with what I got. As for the guitar tracks, I record each rhythm twice, independent from one another and pan them left to right. It gives it a beefier sound I think.

That was really enjoyable to listen to

Only thing was the switch between the distorted ended to suddenly before the clean part.... I think it would be cooler to have the distorted sound on a little longer and almost made them come in to echother

Well I actually wanted it to feel awkward to the listener, If that makes any sense, It goes along with the theme of the song in a way

The heavy parts have cool riffs, they keep listener interested. But the middle part - for me it sounds like those two guitars were not playing with each other, and this part has bad bridges (well it has no bridges at all, actually) to both surrounding parts. If you try to fix this soloing over the clean picking and build some bridges in this section - it will become quite a cool song, I like it smile.gif

Good work man , I liked the song very much!! Clean tapping part is really good, maybe you could bring it up in volume a little more and shorten the pause after it a little...I liked the part after the tapping, it was really cool! Generaly drums could be more interesting in the first part of the song...Great and heavy work overall! smile.gif

I think your guitars keep getting better with each recording. The playing is tighter and the sound is better smile.gif
The song itself is great aswell. Love the structure and arrangement.

The sudden stop and switch to clean was indeed a bit odd, but in a way it was very cool. It sort of makes the listener wonder what just happened smile.gif The cleanguitar was a bit low on volume as aswell as mentioned earlier.
..and the whammy-screams was really cool! smile.gif

I'm still no fan of the drums though wink.gif

I agree with Trond really. I really like your riffage ideas and if you get the drums sounding better it will be even better overall. Great stuff.

As of drums and other instruments....

do someone know if I can feed Cubase with my own MIDI bank which I have in one big (over 120MB) SoundFont? It has really good samples and sounds good.

Right now I'm putting VST instrument which can play SoundFonts - for every instrument I have in my project.... this is a killer for my frame, as every instance of this loads a whole bank! Yes, I have some separate Soundfonts, but.....

Great man! Really clean and precise. I only have to say that clean part is just to quiet, add some gain or adjust it in the mixer. It's very inconsistent with first part. Good work!
