Pedal Board Power Confusion

I've posted a question about power supply before, but I'm still a bit confused. I am considering getting a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2.

Here's my pedal board setup:

Korg Pitchblack tuner (which has power in and out jacks for chaining to your other pedals' power)
MXR Dynacomp
TS-9 Tube Screamer with KE plus mod
Tonebone Hot British Distortion
MXR 10-band EQ
MXR-404 Wah pedal
BBE Sonic Stomp Maximizer
EH Cathedral Reverb
Boss Super Chorus
Boss DD-20 delay

So my question is what would the best method of powering these 10 pedals be? Would all these pedals just connect straight to the 8 jacks the Voodoo Lab power supply provides? Do the ACA/L6/SAG jacks limit what pedals I can power? Also, I have 10 pedals and there's only 8 jacks.

I hope my problem makes sense, sorry if I've confused anyone reading this.

The MXR 10 band eq is 18V as far as I remember so you can power that one seperately (otherwise you would have to use 2x9 Volt jacks from the Voodoo Lab Pedal power). I would connect the two pedals with the lowest power needs in chain into one 9v jack - that should work and match with the 8 power out jacks of the pedal power!

Problem is that you have a whole lot of pedals there at once...
If you look at some professionals and their boards, they usually have 2 or 3 pedals powers on their boards! If you think of increasing the number of your pedals that you gonna use at once even further, you might wanna think about getting 2 pedal powers

You should check out the OneSpot, its about $35 and can power up to 8 pedals. It doesn't have all the fancy features of the Voodoo Labs unit, but it won't break the bank either. You can use the money you save to get another pedal or two smile.gif

I think with this many pedals it is essential to keep the noise down as the pedals themselves suck quite a bit of tone. That's why the outs on the voodoo lab (and other expensive pedal powers) are shielded against static noise. With a power source like you postet Mudbone you will propably get a lot of noise when playing a live show (had that experience)

I currently use this product to power my pedal board. It works great, but can't support more than 5-6 pedals. I ran into this problem already, one or two pedals wouldn't get power. Also as Zakk mentioned, the Voodoo power supply conditions the power and gives you a cleaner sound in the end.

Worst case I will use the Voodoo power for most my pedals and use the OneSpot for a couple of the smaller pedals.

That will propably work just fine as long as it's only 2-3 pedals on the OneSpot!
