Since it MUST be an IBanez, it`s pretty simple.

Decide which specs you want (like whammy, shape, pups, color etc.), then turn to eBay and make a search for, lets say a used Ibanez RG prestige. then it`s just about finding the best price efficient guitar, which I`m sure you will with some thorough searching smile.gif

Yeah it's pretty much used RG prestige, S Prestige or a Joe Satriani Signature.

I wouldn't limit myseld to Ibanez alone though...

Without about 3000 euros i dont think you would get satch's tone exact because what people sometimes dont understand in satch uses effects and his JSX amps on full blast etc.. which alltogether make his stage sound much more huge.

i understand that

i just want a guitar that aprouches his tone

il look into ebay for a good ibanez prestiege

Prestige are great guitars, very versatile, you can play Satch perfectly with them

with 700 euros you might even be able to score a j-custom

try 1700 euros smile.gif

yeah, used is your best bet.

if you want to go satch all the way,

find a mint condition used ibanez radius.

they are similar to the S series, they were only available for 2 years (89 and 90) and they are what got joe satriani into ibanez. They usually come with 3 togle switches instead of 1 selector switch, and have the same body as the JS.

top notch quality and parts you get with the radius
