Hello folks,

I'm currently using the GP file from this lesson

When it gets to the SRV rhythm section (bar 14) it's really stuttering. If someone could download and try it on their system it would be greatly appreciated or, does anyone know of any settings to alter?

It's done it since I first downloaded it, I've been putting up with it but it's doing my head in now mad.gif

It's amazing how when you ask a question for the first time after putting up with crap for a while, you suddenly answer it yourself!!!!!!!!!!

Hello folks,

Back in the day I could tell a country track instantly, I don't mean country and western, just country, it had a certain twang, something I couldn't put my finger on but I knew it was country. I was listening to a "country hour" on the radio the other day, I seriously wouldn't have known it was country of the presenter hadn't said "and that was blah blah riding high in the country charts at the moment". It must sounded like pop music to me, it's it me or is country getting diluted? I'm not a huge country fan, I like Little Big Church and John Prince and a few others but this new stuff is so feeble IMHO.

What you reckon?

Interesting stuff. Not my discovery but Taz Taylor, a guitarist from near me who lives in San Diego. He just posted this in his Facebook page.

"We all know that in addition to being a brilliant drummer, Neil Peart also wrote the lyrics to Rush songs and so therefore also likely gave them their titles...though he never sang those lyrics.
It occurred to me today that in the instrumental track "YYZ" even though there are no lyrics, the first few seconds of the song are Neil playing the letters "YYZ" in Morse Code.
Kinda cool really...he sets the song up by "singing" the title in such a unique way since it is an instrumental.
YYZ is the IATA designation for Toronto Airport and so would be the labels on Neil, Alex and Geddy's baggage when they finished a tour and hit that final flight home."

I'm always interested in knowing what I'm doing but theory confuses me.

What do you think of this for the price? Just to slowly work through on my tablet when not practising.

It's on 75% discount and is a structured college level course.
