Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

I think it is a pretty good take since you've been playing about two months. The sound is the worst feature in the take, your guitar is hearable but it could be better. Overall it's ok but you could have played with more security I think.

Keep the good work! smile.gif

Hey man! You learn two play the guitar like that in just two months?? smile.gif Your timming is very prescise and everything sound nice. As you have playing for just two months, you don't look comfortable holding the guitar. But it's just a matter of time. Nice camera angle!

Keep on the good work!

Ok this is very good for 2 months of playing. The first thing I noticed is that you positioned your left hand fingers like classical players. You had your thumb on the middle of the neck. This is sometimes good and recommended but I think for this one you have to hold it like rock players in order to get more control. Your vibrato is therefore weak as you're vibrating in the "left-right" direction instead of "up-down". The "left-right" movement is only good on a nylon string acoustic guitar. Also make sure that your guitar is in tune. I think it wasn't 100%. Besides I think you did a great job. Well done.

Keep working man, this is very good progress for 2mo of playing. Your average on this lesson is 65.3%

EDIT: And it's actually even better. smile.gif My appologies, I averaged your score with 6 instructor grades and it should have been 5. This makes your final average 78.4% which is passing my friend!

Cheers,
Steve

And thanks berko for alerting me to this.. smile.gif
