I found this quite emotional to watch, there's a lot of sadness, maybe regret etched on Ozzy's face and when he sees Randy it really moves him, he loved Randy like a brother and misses him every minute.

This is the actual house he grew up in, as featured in the video. 14 Lodge Road, Aston, Birmingham, England.

Very cool vid! Thanks for the share! Talk about humble beginings! He really has had an amazing career.
How did you find his birthplace? I'm sorta suprised it's not on the historic register or something and someone outside charging for tickets to get pictures of it and take a house tour smile.gif )

If you read his autobiography "I Am Ozzy" he says where he was brought up. The English Heritage have a blue plaque scheme where a plaque is put on houses where people of note have lived but one of the criteria is "Have been dead for 20 years or have passed the centenary of their birth." More info about the scheme here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_plaque

What's going through his mind at 4:31 just after he sees Sharon kiss him? He looks so full of regret.

I can't watch this without getting emotional! Maybe because I can draw many parallels to myself, who knows? It does cause me to do some soul searching though.

Cheers

We have far less history in my country just in general as we have only been here a couple hundred years in total, so we don't have 100 year requirements as it would preclude so much of what little history we do have. Graceland, for example, was a historic site as soon as the king moved in and has been on ever since. I think they should make an exception for Ozzy smile.gif The entire thing should be a museum imho. Then again so should the homes of the guys from Iron Maiden etc. Then again if they did that, it might take a good bit of housing inventory out of play. We tend to forget, as MATTY OD reminded me, that England is about the size of texas. so every brick of importance can't be cordoned off like do here on lots of stuff.

It is a very cool vid and very emotional. It's hard not to feel a bond with Ozzy as I've grown up listening to his music. It almost shocked me when I learned he had kids when I was still young. I thought how can the prince of darkness be a doting father?
