Hi there!

It is a great honour to present guitarist Ian Bushell from Johannesburg South Africa

Ian has been playing for 11 years, in original bands and cover bands (etc)
He has been a private guitar teacher for about 4 years.

He found out about GMC through a student of his who came into his lesson "raving" about us! biggrin.gif

Check out his band - which [to me] has some absolute killer material! blink.gif laugh.gif (Ian's solos are smoking as well)

http://www.myspace.com/southworldband

I will leave the of Ian's introduction to himself - be sure to check out today's lesson with Ian! (here)

Ian - I think questions might come in your lesson feedback once people starting sitting down and practicing your lessons! smile.gif

By the way I can add that some of Ian's favortie guitarists are Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Alexi Laiho, Joe Satriani, Greg Howe, Nuno Bettencourt.

I like how it is a mix between older and newer (well at least one!) influences!

Greg Howe is also one of my personal favorites - and I can really see in today's lesson that he has influenced you! smile.gif

Thanks Kristofer!
I found the feedback now. wink.gif

Yeah i love mixing the old rock style with the new.
The 80's in my opinion still showcased some of the scariest rock players ever!

Greg Howe is awesome! I entered his online competition greg howe's play for me contest 2
If you'd like to see a longer video of me. I actually did this vid with the masterclass ones:)

Yes - the eighties shrapnel records is a goldmine of shred techniques and cool guitar instrumentals - I have got lots of inspiration from there! biggrin.gif

Hi Audiopaal!

Thanks alot!

Tried to post in feedback it's not coming up!
I'll try again.
Thanks for the warm welcome and cool feedback,
nerves have settled a little now biggrin.gif

Yeah the "shrapnel years"!!!
I'd dig to get more but things are limited here.
I've heard of players like Jason Becker and Shawn Lane. But Haven't heard them.
Anyone know where i can hear some stuff?
