Hey guys

im trying to find some one who can help me setting up a band and all i find is black metal fans.
all of them just want screams and nonsense things in the vocals or guitar

i realy feel alone in my country
its kinda depressing but at the same time its very cool to be unique in some way
maybe one day il be great biggrin.gif

just wanted to share this with you guys , you my second family

I would venture to say that alot of people on this board feel the same way as you. GMC is really the only interaction I get with any kind of musicians. I am a total bedroom wannabe but at least I have GMC and can interact with people who are as nutty as me when it comes to all things guitar biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif Music is supposed to make you feel good and be fun so stick to what you like and don't worry about what everybody else around you is doing!!

Don't worry mate, there will always be times like this, even when you are in the band and rocking, you will feel that there are too many fans of other types of music and not yours. But often things are not what they seem to be, and the only important thing I can suggest is to push strong with your style, and improve improve improve. Your time will come, maybe not on the day when you imagined it, but it will come if you are good at what you do and believe in it. Cheer up and keep rockin! smile.gif

The beauty of life is it serves you things when you least expect them. Who knows , you might be new Hendrix with your new style and serve as a role model for future guitar players to come wink.gif
Keep up the faith in yourself and work hard - good things will happen and results will follow.

Thats what i want rolleyes.gif thats exactly who and what i want to be
a role model for future guitarists

i cant wait to finish my guitar course , when i get to the intermedium level (which is very close btw)
il be able to improve my improvising techniques using the modes and scales

then il record a demo of whats already becoming one of my first creations

i dont want to get lost in the way, i want to get to the top, i wanna be on stage when people are chatting: "SANTA SANTA SANTA SANTA SANTA" laugh.gif

and then someday some teenager kid will see me on the street and say dude that´s Santa Clara, HE ROCKS

In Fact i Would kill for a sight like this one
(Joe Satriani Live Portugal, Lisbon Coliseu dos Recreios i was the guy with the big arms on row 5)

If you have a vision about the music that YOU want to play then definitely follow this, don't jump on any trend that might be hip in the moment. There is nothing wrong with Death metal (to stick to your example) but if you don't feel like playing this style then don't even think about it. Try to work on your own thing and I am sure that at some point you will also find other musicians that share your vision.
