Original lesson: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Beginners-Corner-21-String-Bending/

I have a lot of bending practice in Gab`s Army. This is a result.

For me it's almost perfect - 90% of the bends here. At some spots I had a feeling You're a bit to high with the pitch. Also...You vibrato tend to get that wanted depth and rate but somehow You create a feeling that You vibrate not over correct pitch - You know sort of vibrating motion does not cross the "right pitch spot". Maybe You do not release Your fretting hand to a full relax moment or you don't get back to a right pitch when you bend vibrated notes. It's very hard and it often happens to a pro players as well. Keep up the good work!

Hi Beat, great to see your takes here!

We are working at the mentoring thread to polish your timing and bending, and I'm happy to note your progress on these REC takes. You know most of you suggestions and comments about your playing and how to continue polishing this one. The good news is that, as Darius said, your bending is VERY close to sound always perfect, so you are definitely on the right track.

Keep on the killer work! smile.gif

Hi beat, this is mostly good stuff. Most of the bends are good but it's mainly that naughty semitone bend that first occurs at 0:11 that sounds out of place compared with the others. Many people struggle to get semitone bends just right so it's nothing too bad. Just a bit of adjustment. The slow tempo and sparse backing track actually make it more difficult, I think, because you've got to hold onto the notes for longer so small pitch errors really do show up.

If you can nail the semitone then you'll be there. But that tone is a bit harsh for this track! tongue.gif
